Lola Fani-Kayode would have been a brilliant Home Video director, after doing shows like Mirror in the Sun and Mind-Bending. But I understand she couldn't come to terms with the low level of quality of the home video format and thus never crossed over. Lola is now resideing in the UK, I understand.

It is a tough field and our ladies don't seem to be making any head way there. You might want to open a thread asking others if they know other female movie directors. Wink

Yeah, Uche does. She writes for others sometimes and stays out of it. I don't think she directs yet though, but I may be wrong.

Uche wrote broken chord. She did not direct it. She gave it to me to read before it was done. Can find out who directed if you want to know.

I saw one movie like that, that Uche wrote. She was in the leading role beside Jake Aernan and Joke Silva.I can't remember the title again, but it was a good story. It seems she is a very talented writer too.

She's a good writer. She works hard at it and neverl lets it out until she's satisfied. Hey, this thread should be about Amaka!
