Pros:
|
it shows the affluent lifestyles of the privileged nigerians, the picture is very clear and i guess it got a good cast.
|
|
Cons:
|
it is pretentious.

My first attraction to this movie was the cover. I figured, a movie with RMD and ego boyo has to be good, oh...and some eye candy wont do any harm(genevieve nnaji). However i wasn't really drawn into the movie. The plot was kinda weak. it has the "seen it all before" syndrome and it drags on a bit. It is obvious that a lot was done to deliver a relatively good quality production i.e the sound and picture quality. But in my opinion, more time should have gone into developping a good script.

I don't necessarily agree with Captaion on his post. NO offense but I guess we are all entitled to our opinion and I respect that.
Anyway, I think the movie is one of the best I have seen after Violated (1 and 2). I would say for a NIgerian movie and the resources we have, it was an excellent movie. The story was on point, the acting was very good and the characters fit the role they acted. I would recommend it to anyone.

Pros:

terrific acting, witty super slick dialogues, great story etc
|
|
Cons:
|
frequent audio distortions during loud dialogues.

This is the slickest, most sophisticated, and intelligent english movie that i have seen yet this year.Did i say classy as well?Nnaji and the rest of the casts were just brilliant.Kudos to all involved in this movie, proud of y'all.
Apart from persistent audio clippings problems(they just can't solve that problem, can they).Without those audio distortions,i would have given the movie a 10.So good was it.Will compare favourably with any movie from hollywood in the same genre.:thumbs up:

hmm... can't think of one

It was a very nice movie. I loved the storyline, which was entertaining and interesting on one hand and suspenseful on the other.
Its one of those movies that you can watch over and over again and wouldn't get bored.
The cover pics caught my attention, and I was really dying to see Ego Boyo, however, she only made a camio appearance in just one scene, and I felt like I was tricked. Why put an actress or actor on the cover of the film if that person didn't fully take part in the movie? However, besides that, it was all good.

I loved the movie, one of the best I've seen in Naija's production. I like that they tried to make it high classed also. More efforts like this on movies will take Nigeria to the next level in movie making. Richard was at his best as usual and Gene no slack either. Will recommend without hesitation.

By far the best Nigerian movie I have watched so far. There should be a part two. The end needs to be a bit more expanded. We didn't know what happend to everyone else's search for love. I didn't get who "Ego Boyo" was in the movie - was she Sampa's(RMD)Ex in the movie?? Certain scenes weren't fully explained well.

I cried when i watched this movie, well acted by the cast, nice story line and all that and in defense of the end of the story. I guess the only person we should have asked about her love life was Bimbo Akintola's xter. cos the other chic obviously came home and also we all know Genny's xter reconciled with Sampa.
and for the person asking bout Ego Boyo's role she was Sampa's sister.

This is a must see. I do have confidence in Ego Boyo though, This lady has never associated herself with a failure since i have been aware of her existence in the film industry. Keeping Faith brought tears to my eyes and believe me, it takes a lot to bring tears out of me. Great actors and actresses. Everything to write home about

Finally the cinematography and vision of nigerian movie is gradually changing, although this film digs deep into love, it fails to acknowledge the path of light which ofcourse is christianity and Jesus. But this is a good footpath that other nigerian producers should follow.
I must confess Ego boyo/Amaka Igwe combo is really taking shape in nollywood. This is a movie that lacks failure.Funola is one actress that should be closely monitored and admired because her peak of stardom is gradually approaching.
