For those who are yet to see this flick,let me tell you now that it is a ritualistic,bloodsucking,cult homvie.But the difference to the rest in the genre is that this one has the cleverest concept of them all,in my opinion.I personally do not think that a ritual homvie with a cleverer concept will come out for a while to come.
It started off with a theme that is very dear to women in naija and indeed,the rest of africa,and then veered off into the evil,ritualistic occultism for it's dramas and intrigue.
The plot itself borders on the limits of realism as wives of prominent members of the society kill their husbands to get into the cot without any form of political sandstorm.
The law enforcement was(once again) almost completely ommitted from the plot until towards the end of the saga,which makes the plot,unrealistic and incomplete.
The trio of Bukky Ajayi,Joke silva,and Onyeka Onwenu,was just awesome in this flick,absolutely smoking from start to finish.They murdered their respective roles.
This is advance level nollywood,no doubt,with great lines and terrific acting from the huge cast(save for few actors).
This is one of the best EMG homvies to come out this year
BTW,the title should've been called,THE WIDOW'S COT,more appropriate.
