Description:
|
Tony is barely 21. Fatima is just 17. They fall in love. But Fatima's father has a different agenda for his daughter. He wants her to marry into the family of a billionaire to consolidate his business empire. Tony, out of desperation, kidnaps Fatima. And Fatima's father puts all the vast resources at his disposal in pursuit of him, using helicopters, hundreds of policemen, the inspector General, etc.

This is the best Nigerian movie i think i have seen that was decided to the whole time the producer think they can get.
I heard that it took the producers three years to organise the movie. that is wonderful.

Did I hear someone say 100% or perfect 10. If you use any of this statement for "Hostages" (both part), I'll never be mad at you, I don't think anyone will. Hostages is a cut above the rest, this is one of the best products the Nigerian film industry ever produce if not the only.
For severl minutes into this movie, I thought am watching an amazing production from Hollywood. Great make believe, the actors, the storyline, and the camera crew made me think that what am watching is real and not a movie, to the point that I cried for our dear hero;Tony. I will give this movie a 110% if I could.

Well I havent watched this movie but the poster is awesome. Thats what I am talking about. I hate it when they try and place all the freaking actors on one small poster. Now this poster is art. It kinda tells you what the movie is about with little or no pictures on the cover.
I'm going to watch this this weekend. I shall return with my report!!

Watched it on big screen in school in Jos in 1997.
We werent too impressed about what all the noise was about. Maybe bcos we were in the queue for 2hrs before we got into the auditorium!
