Okin is about a woman named Makanjuola (she is called Honorable most of the time except her family that calls her Mummy, Iya Tokunbo or by her name).
Makanjuola husband (played by Olumide Bakare) is a politician together with Makanjuola. Makanju decided to go into another party because she wasn't stastified with her husband political agenda. Two different parties started holding meetings in the same house.
They had two kids, Tokunbo and Omowumi. They were both at marriageable age (late 20's sort of). Tokunbo was dating Anu (lepa Shandy) and Omowumi is a phat girl that cant stop snacking, desperate looking for husband (and she played the role of this snack girl very well, gentle talking and always snacking ). Anyhow, both kids got someone they were in love with but their mother wants someone she can control.
Soon she divorce her husband and took the kids to her own villa. Through all means she set herself forth to become the first VP of the country.

After watching a bunch of "bad" movies this one puts a smile on my face. Even the opening song was entertaining- "rora alagbara rora" (take it easy, powerful people, take it easy")
All the actors held it down with honorable mention to the chubby girl that played the sister - she was a nice comic relief in an other wise serious drama.
The story too unfolds nicely, even though it raises the question in my mind - why must an ambitious Nigerian lady be villian-ized?
The ending was supposed to be a shocker - all I can say is that they "try"
Enjoy the movie.
