Description: This movie, produced and starring Nigerian Pascal Atuma, has a lovely concept. A young Nigerian married to an African American is about to receive a visit from his parents who are based in Naija. He had always told them he was a successful lawyer in the US (he's actually a weed peddler using an ice cream truck as a mobile stall), so he has to cook up some facade to cover up his lies.


That's probably the only worthwhile thing about this movie shot in California, in my humble opinion. Also written by Pascal, the story simply went to hell as soon as a camera was pointed at it. Filled with difficult to believe scenarios (a son hiring a stripper to give his stuck-in-the-groove-of-tradition father a lap dance for instance), and supposedly experimental digital tricks from the obviously confused director, what could have been a delightful little movie eventually became an embarrassment. It features old Nigerian TV hand Shola Adeyemo as the father. It also features our own Joi of NR in a small part.


Sadly, it is largely forgettable fluff. Blockbuster has it.
