Description:
|
A story of Love vs Hatred, Power vs Faith. By going against his father's(Ameachi Muonagor) wish and marrying his true love, Michael(Emeka Ike) incurred his father's wrath and thus lost his birth right to the vast empire that would otherwise have been his. For how long will he be able to hold his own in the society where his father is highly & widely connected. For how long will his love for Irene endure against the threat of poverty. But the story doesn't end there. For his brother Collins(Desmond Elliot), although he has been given total control by Daddy of the massive empire, life seems incomplete until Michael comes home ..much to the disapproval of his wife. Both Emeka & Desmond are exceptional.

The story was told w/o wasting time and that I must applaud. Good to see Ini Edo in a mellowed down character and not in all that gragra for a minute. Nice to see Amaechi Muonagor in a different light rather than the usual funny characters he plays in. Is he loosing weight? Desmond and Emeka delivered. Desmond keeps amazing me with his range of emotions and at the same time play childish games. Oby's character of a spoiled wife who was afraid of loosing her imagined position as the only wife and favored daughter in-law is as real as they come. You saw as her crazy friend kept pumping her to do some evil things to ensure her rightful place in the family. Good they were all arrested in the end.
