Pros:
well pieced together story, effective use of flashbacks
Cons:
Making it seem like Desmond is a main character
Aisha is from a muslim Hausa family up North. Her best friend Halima is a bad influence and not long after partying with her she ends up pregnant and disowned by her family.
Her friend Halima advises her to steal money from her parents so that she can escape to Lagos, and stay with her friend Zainab.
When she gets to Lagos Zainab arranges for her to be hooked up with "Cheif" and she has the fist of many many abortions.
The begining of the film was slow but picked up greatly after the first half hour. Although is is a story that has been told in countless Nigerian films, the use of flashbacks and side stories made it a little bit different.
I enjoyed it and would recommend it, although what happened at the end was totally RIDICULOUSSSS!!!
Another point to make is Desmond is a MINOR character in this film. Blink and you may well miss him. I don't know why his mug is plastered AAAAALL over the cover!!!
