Try the African-Carribean department of any library within your area, the wider Greater London Area or any big city in the UK! You will find Hausa language dictionaries, teach yourself books etc!

You can also try the Africa Centre in Covent Garden, their book centre is well stocked with African language books. The School Of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) University of London in Bloombsbury also has the largest African languages collection in Europe, inside their library. Members of the public are allowed three free passes per year. After that, they have to pay a fee to visit the library. IF you attend any institution within London Uniuversity, you can get in for free! Aesha, I promise you, you'll find Hausa language books you never even new existed!

One more thing, there's an Hausa guy here in London who supposedly piblished an Hausa language community/endutainmanent magazine here in London. Unfotunately, I don't have any more info than that, but you might like to ask around.

Regards
