God bless u omo oko em missuju no offense but i no tink say u know una history correct because like omo oko has rightfully said na yoruba start movie the only reason igbo movies flood the market is because they make like what 10 movies a week again very sorry to say but out of those ten movies 7 of them are crap becasue to me they all have the same story line:ritual, childlessness, village, money, witchcraft and other stuff that depicts ibo to look like evil people which they are difinitely not and you have to first sensor the movie first for the actors rmd, stella, stephania o, genevive, ramsey, jm iyke, omotola jalade and that's it the rest to me are jjc who have no clue what they are doing and half of them can't even speak english correctly.there are more actors/actresses in yoruba movie i mean for ex a thread asked to list five top actors and actresses and people were listing 10 in igbo movies you will have to rack your brain really hard to find 7. don't get me wrong there are some good ibo movies like all my life, private sin and so on. im not trying to say yoruba movies don't have flaws because trust me they do but their stories make sense and teach lesson and also entertain you they are not just an excuse to make money they actually put time into it.
i'm not trying to put igbo movies down because they are really do their thing but take it from someone who watches both yoruba and igbo, there is a big difference. i'm sorry if anyone feels offended by my comment but i am merely just sharing how i see it a beg please no vex o my people.
