Medden, I know u didnt write that! Because you could do better..... So if it is in the Bible that I should stand on Mount Sanai and pray and I see some people doing it and falling to their death. Tell you what, I wont do it!
I am not one to fallow any law blindly, it must make some sense at least, even if its just a tiny biti one. but it must make some sense Because if its a true command from God, he would send his Angels to catch me or the people while they are falling because like you said he is a Supreme being.
While we might not fully understand the mind of God, there is one thing we can definitely understand about him, that he does not delight in senseless Death. And I would finally conclude that some dubious person added that part to the Bible and so I wont obey it. By the way God has given us permission to come to him, so why not inquire of him if it is really his will. If it is, he will definitely let you know, because like you said, he is supreme and nothing is too great or hard for him to do..... So my dear come up with a better answer
