Ambassador Pamela Bridgewater has been summoned to the White House for consultation with the President. *The move follows today's 2-1 elimination of the US soccer team by Ghana. *Presidential spokesman announced that Bush was "perturbed" by the loss but more particularly was upset that he was not informed that there was a country named Ghana.

"The war on terror cannot allow the overnight formation of potential new terrorist strongholds in Africa or Asia or any other area" Bush stated in his daily radio address to himself. *This "Ghana" must be a code word for terrorist groups intent on inflicting great harm on the American people. *I equate sending the great socccer team of Americans home early from the World Cup to be an act of terrorism and will respond appropriately to this action."

Vice President **** Cheney was reached at his undisclosed location and seemingly agreed with President Bush's assessment with his terse "@!#$ Ghana" comment.
