O’Tudor to anchor Intern Reality Show

Brand strategist and CEO of Adstrat, Axle and Stratis, Charles O’Tudor, has been named the anchor of the Intern TV Show. The announcement came at the official presentation of the 10 contestants on Independence Day, October 1,2006 at Planet One Entertainment, Maryland, Lagos.

O’Tudor will be leading the interns through their business tasks. The presentation ceremony featured movie stars, Keppy Ekpeyong and Bimbo Akintola as comperes, while youngish musician, Jeremiah, also entertained guests at the event.Stressing the objectives of the programme, the organisers, including Mr Tokunbo Davies of McQueens and co, explained that it wanted to build people who will rule the business world in the future.“We are building people that other people will aspire to be like,” Davies said.

The Intern grand prize is N3million, a new KIA RIO 2006 model, automatic employment, a new laptop, an MBA scholarship and a full executive wardrobe. The second and third place winners will get N1 million and N750,000 respectively, plus automatic employment, new laptops, MBA scholarships and executive wardrobes. “Unlike most other reality shows where the winner takes all, the remaining seven finalists will also get automatic employment, new laptops, executive wardrobes and cash equivalent of points earned during the show. Besides these prizes, participants will benefit from a once-in-lifetime experience that lifts them above their peers,” Mr Kunle Hamilton, also a consultant, said.
