Ok!My review of this video movie.To begin with,i was dissapointed with the direction that the storyline took.From the title,i was expecting something different,new.I was thinking the story will be about the lives of lagosians,you know,a study into the eko way of life.
But instead,the movie took the all too familiar route;
1)A man whose wife is dead and left with kids to look after.
2)His family brings wife from village
3)He refuses her and says he will marry lagos girl
4)Eko girl maltreats children(i bet u know where this is heading
)
5)Eko girl is a golddigger
6)The man is sentenced to live imprisonment through bad twist of fate and children left to the mercy of eko girl.
7)Man's friend enters the family and....(i think i better stop there.
If you have seen a lot of naija movies,especially yoruba ones,then you will know where this train is headed.Whether you wanna go with it to the end is up to you!
