iuwa, that would be disastrous for the industry. sometimes i wish that people like tchidi and emem isong and the other directors were active on this site so that we can bounce ideas off them, and also let them know that we applaud their efforts. and they're rich enough that they can afford to be choosy and not conform. And Olu Jacobs is a veteran!! he is in a league all his own, short and simple.

Artistic expression should never be reduced or stopped because a few fans do not like a movie.

As for me, I love all types of movies and I welcome something different but the nollywood industry is to chicken to try something different. Until this industry develop a backbone, we will continue to see the same recycled storylines.
Vince, yes, i finally noticed. when it hits me, it hits me.

Aha!So you finally noticed. My own conclusion came from closely monitoring the pattern of reviews and comments of naijarulers and other nolly fans on other webboards for a long time.
omonaija, nne, its time to move on from those movies. as much as i love watching Patience O in action, i'd like even better to see her in something different, sort of like she did in Love After Love.

chi, we are in the minority.
