The choice of subject matter was always tricky, so I'm not surprised either. Its been discussed at great debate right here on NR even before the film came out. Its one of those really hyped movies with a tricky storyline that for Jeta Amata, was a great gamble. You either fall flat on your face or do a great job.
Personally I think it was ambitious and he pulled it off. But plenty may differ, I just thought it was good and didnt even focus on the obvious flaws.
