I was getting so sick and tired of seeing movies about the Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa culture so I am very, very, very happy to see movies showcasing other tribes. It's not great all the time (e.g The Queen feat. Stella Damasus Aboderin/Richard Mofe Damijo/Nkiru Sylvanus) because the actors don't invest the time to learn a little about the tribe and just assume that all tribes are the same BUT it is still lovely to behold.

I am loving that we are showing ourselves in a romantic light even though it is yet to sit right because the actors are a bit stiff but it's lovely to see sweetness between couples especially the older generation who are notorious for their "dryness", e.g Love After Love feat. Justus Esiri and Patience Ozokwor.

I am hearing more and more music made, produced and song by Nigerians.

I am seeing less occult themed movies so that's superb
