The writer also failed to mention that there were (Adam Clayton Powell, Barbara Jordan, Andrew Young - to name a very few - ) and are (Charles_B._Rangel[/size][/i][/u][/b]"]Charles Rangel, Maxine Water, Sheila Jackson-Lee my favorite..) many, many African-America legislators that were well respected by both races and parties. And they were closer to Obama in continence, intellect and demeanor that they were to the people he mentioned....
