I have more questions:
Why does he not visit the others like he does your house? Do they live far away?
Does his wife know that you are uncomfortable, or she thinks everything is peachy?
Are you close to your inlaws (siblings)? You think you can talk them into inviting him over to their home regularly so that you can share the burden?
The man is retired and bored. You all need to put heads together and find him something to do.
