This is a societal norm, very rooted in our system, and very very deep in the African culture from the "Zulus" to the "Bonkutus". The worse part of it all is that there's an expected reaction or answer by the society, and if you dare go against it.......then you're doomed! ......as long as you'll be in the marriage.
The good part is that...... its temporary, and it'll die soon, and Leggy may probably find herself on the father-in-law's "favored" list and maybe in his "will" too!
