I am convinced that Obama will win the general election against McCain for the following reasons:
1)He has a unique ability to unite people and even some Republicans (that are not too fond of McCain) have admitted to liking Obama.
2) Their policies are completely different. McCain wants to keep troops in Iraq for as long as it takes, and he's even been quoted as saying he will keep troops in Iraq for "100 years" if necessary. On the contrary, Obama wants to bring the troops home.
3) Judging by the performance of the current Republican administration at the White House, it will take a disastrous Democratic campaign and a collapse of huge proportions for McCain and his Republican party to have any chance of winning the elections. Such a collapse is still possible if one of the candidates (Hilary or Obama)fail to convince their voters to vote for the chosen nominee.
4) The concern of most Americans at the present time is the economy, and the Democratic party has a fantastic record of economic turnarounds in the US.
The odds are stacked against McCain winning the upcoming elections unless something dramatic happens. Race will not help McCain in the elections bro.
