The Sympathy/Consoling Factor

Am I the only one who notices this?

I'm watching a movie, someone is hurting, he/she goes to a friend or family member, and the next thing I hear is probably one of the following:

See your life!
I told you, but you wouldn't listen.
I warned you, did i not warn you?
Why are you crying, when i tried to advise you, you did not listen to me.
What do you want me to do? what? I can't do anything o please.
Why are you disturbing me? did your father not tell you to leave that boy alone?

and one or more of these lines are being yelled at the person needing sympathy or consoling.

I mean seriously!!! Where is the sympathy? Where is the love?
it's got to the point where i fastforward scenes where someone is being consoled/sympathized with.

na wah.
