No, you're right, they are NOT the same, slangs and phonetics.
but they are both bad in my book, as of right now, i don't know which is the lesser evil.

it makes my skin crawl when i hear the slangs being used, and used in the wrong context, i detest that N-word being used all willy-nilly. sometimes i laugh at them when they use the slangs.

the phonetics on the other hand, i can sit through and wince throughout the movie or scene. sometimes.

bah!
