Bros, this has been an ongoing issue for me.
is it just the slang? or the "accents?"
i was watching a movie (the name escapes me) and this character was named BUSH!
and in rapping to the girl, he said "my daddy named me Bush after his friend George Bush"

are you for real?
i mean, to each his own. if they like making themselves look crazy, then i guess i should learn to love it, no?
When He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named I tries to sound like an american/british, i just crumple up inside, and i'm so, oh so happy, that Jim Iyke has put an end to that.
ms okereke seems to be getting away from that herself, and for that, i am very thankful.
man! we've come a long way,
i remember watching a movie with lilian bach as an austrian woman...Jehovah God in heaven!!! atrocious.
i mean, it's ok if you want to mimic american slangs, but for heaven's sake use it in the right context,
and i HATE hearing that N-word used.
