thus spook atum!
I've realised something I never was quite aware of. Its all of a sudden only just this very minute dawned on me that no one cares what one says. No one at all indeed! Imagine! Not one person pays any attention to a single word.
Amazing, aint it? You'd think at least one single person, or a couple, for that matter, would, but not one single human being gives a damn, not one single person!
But, thats the duty, oops, I meant, beauty of it! It means I can say what the ek I want! isn't that one for the realisation? I get to say what the ek I want to say, and noone gives a toot!
I can't but vonder who else is so blessed!

Smoking Kills!
That, at least, is what it says on the pack; and on the back of the pack, it says: SMOKING MAY REDUCE THE BLOOD FLOW TO YOUR BITS AND CAUSE IMPOTENCE, and, UK DUTY PAID, and For Adult Use Only. So, you see, its good to smoke!
Think about it. Since it kills, and helps reduce potency, can one not see how it helps control the population of the world? Just imagine! We could all become like China where one is only allowed to have one kid! There wont be enough air to smoke! Guess one can see why China is the smoking capital of the world, it helps with their birth control!
In UK today, one is being rather irresponsible if one were not doing one's duty; Smokers seem to be doing their's, is it not true then that smokers are the most worthy individuals in the country, doing their duty by smoking?
And also, there's the fact that its for adult use only! I mean, one gets a ***, smokes it, and ones an adult, voila! What a darn pretty quick way to grow up! that just cool!
And there's the fact that one would be dead by twenty seven and a half years old thus making way for the next generation and not contributing to the overpopulation of the world!
Smoking might kill, and one might think thats a bad thing, but it sure does have many benefits for the world, no wonder British American Tobacco have a factory then, in Ibadan!

By Faith!?!
Robis! If one asked me! Why anyone in their right mind would believe anything by faith alone, just plain eludes me! Apparently, itssupposed to be a virtue! innerseting! Very Inneresting indidi!
I often think of some of the things I am told to believe, "by faith". Some of them are just outright ludicrous and silly. And to think, some of these things initiated from those whom one knows to have lied and deceived one in the past - people one ought to know one better not trust or believe, from experience!
I guess for some, it might be that thats as good as things get. Its perhaps not the case that one can always go and check oneself now, and one has to believe something; but without checking? without checking if its true? Just accepting by faith? Hmm, can one not smell fish?
Well, I myself, I'm sorry, no can do, I do not think it would be right to relinquish the use of my God given talent to reason, and question, and search diligently, and all. I just do not see how that would be pleasing to my Lord and Master!
Imagine me saying, "God, you know you are a jealous God, so I kept my talent under the bed". I dread to think what one would be told that day!

On Beliefs
So I believe, that the moon is in the sky, and the sun too! I see them when the weather is good, though in London, thats a rather rare thing. Why would anyone believe anything else, especially things they can't see I wonder? Not me! Imagine all the choices out there, yuk!
They do say seeing is believing though, never a truer statement if I dared say, but if one's eye were dim, so to speak, would one see anything? I guess not! And thats where belief comes in! Such say they see, though they blind as bats.
We believe things sometimes for no reason whatsoever. At the least, one ought checksure one's beliefs have a solid foundation, and not just made up of pie in the sky.
But, as is said, "my eye"! I guess I gonna have to go wash out my dim ones!
(Just reckoned I'd say hello to you lot, hello! )

On Knowing!
Or not knowing, as the case might be!
I don't know, myself, but, I been thinking some more about this belief, thing! I am baffled, very baffled indeed. I can't but hope that when I'm grown, life will not seem so full of muddling stuff as it is now! Oh! I wish I was grown!
I believe. I believe, only because I do not quite know! If I knew, would I say I believed? No masirdam! I would say I unequivocably know! But as I don't know jack, or musa or michael, for that matter, is that not why I say I believe? Do I not more or less mean, I do not have a clue?
When I grow up, I intend to be one smart alec! Forget belief, I will say I KNOW! But I guess you might have figured, I got a long long long long way to go for that, for now, I stuck with my iginorance!
O Lord, Pleeeze.
