Red face Which Pepper?

Am I the only this happens to?

You go to a place to order food and you ask for it to be EXTRA SPICY...you then are eating it, and are BARELY able to taste any pepper in it!!! Or is it "our" taste buds that's used to spicy foods?

Just asking sha!

I know right! I once made moin-moin for a potluck, and I think I put just ONE habanero pepper (atarodo) in the whole shege....

All those oyinbos were like "its spicy, its spicy..."

it was only my Indian coworker that had a similar taste bud to moi....

i have the answer to your question u want hot abi?? ever tried ATOMIC chicken from wingstop? trust me wa gba oloun 'loga..............first time i ever ordered the atomic, the waitress asked me if i had tried it before, i told her no and she told me to proceed with caution, i was like these people have come again, do they understand what they call spicy?i got home and had one bite i tell you i ran from living room to kitchen and back to living room, i was confused as hell, i forgot where the fridge to get water was.i was panting like a thirsty dog, after i drank water i could feel my whole lips burning like fire, compulsory tears were running down my cheeks...............i should have indeed proceeded with caution. am like i aint messing with that stuff no more

If you like hot. a friend gave me some dried atarodo pepper, she called cameroon pepper. That thing is hotter than scoth bonnet. It like four dried pieces for a dollar if your ever come accross it here. But it is common in naija.smell so good on rice stew. But soo hot, it is not for the soft taste bud.
