My Mood:
hausa people and hausa cinema

I am writing an essay on hausa culture concentrating on moral values in everyday life. i am interested in how film has affected these values, looking at both hausa film and Indian film which i believe is very popular amoung the Hausa people. How has the peoples attitudes to Indian film changed in the last 50 years? Has the introduction of the Sharia Law changed the way that people view cinema? Have the importance of moral values changed throughout the years and do the older and younger generation have conflicting views on the changes taking place in Northern Nigeria? It would be very useful to have some feed back as i am studying in England and have no first hand experience of the Hausa culture, thank you.
