Well 'Not With My Daughter I and II' starring Eucharia Anoddidi (whatever) can actually pass for an Hausa Movie.
The movies was about Northerners and was actually filmed in the North.
Great movie by the way so you might wanna grab a copy.

I believe I saw that. It's actually Magana Jarice and it was shot on film, not video. Was it Abubakar Tafawa Balewa again? Been a while.

Does anyone here remember "Magana ja re ci" , I think that was the title. It was a soap opera in the '90s. i'd like to know more about what the storyline as I really can't remember much. All I know is that I found it qiute intriguing as a kid.
