At barely 24, she is already a super star of Hausa films. But having realized this, she told Nollywood in a chat on the location of her up coming flick, Gada that her very next ambition is to become a singer.

In fact, Ummi Nuhu boasted that she has the potential to be as great and perhaps, even greater than Nigerian - born international music star, Sade Adu who she idolizes. The very sociable, fair coloured star actress however disclosed that what is indeed holding her back from music is the lack of sponsors.

Popularly called Ummi Alamari, based on her very first effort, titled, Alamari where she impressed and scooped a lot of fans, she has never looked back. She has acted in so many other films playing lead roles in a lot of them. However she listed her best three to be Ganga, Filazal and of course, Alamari that brought her to limelight.

I've got a feeling i've seen her in one of those english movies b4. Na wa o, wonders shall never end; so there're no more suitors in her village anymore, she wan come marry someone she met on d net all d way from India, lohun lohun. make she careful sha, if she dey read dis.
