But sis Peks ...on NR u have to criticise to feel among and accepted dont u know ???
It is important to be clingy to others opinion for acceptance here,on NR the rules of the game is to go with popular opinion.
On NR it would make people uncomfortable if you excercise patience or show understanding or compassion as you have suggested.
You are not allowed to show patience and understanding when the project is that of a stranger or a HOLLYWOOD star.
If the artist has a close friend who is a member on NR then it is forbidden to criticize.
Its a populrity,bandwagon,gbamgbam contest here always has been always will be.
On NR you have to screen your personal opinion to make sure it doesnt make another individual feel guilty about their opinion.
Hopefully your appeal will fall on fertile ground !

Dozgal came here to write a movie script with Sola and my life changed to ESTELLA Couture! I give God the Glory 24/7.
Please I am telling Genny and Olamide, infact I am shouting out loud to them to NEVER give up on their vision as long as they know God gave it to them!
I am proud that they can leave their comfort zones!
From experience, let me say it here again, IT IS NOT EASY TO GIVE UP A SALARY/PAY CHECK TO VENTURE OUT ON YOUR OWN WITH A NEEDLE AND THREAD IN HAND!! LIVING IN USA!! WITH NO FINANCIAL BACKUP, WITH ALL THE BILLS TO BE PAID, AND STILL REFUSE TO GIVE UP!!! EVEN REFUSING HELP FROM HOME BECAUSE YOU WANT TO PROVE TO THEM THAT YOUR GIFTING IS FROM GOD!! AND ITS NOT THAT YOU DONT HAVE DEGREES/EDUCATION!!!
Against all odds! Against all oppositions!!! Just standing tall and trsuting God through thick and thin!!
You all have seen me go through phases here! From being insulted, cursed, embarrassed, demeaned, to being stabbed in the back by people I called brothers and sisters! To having my life told here in distorted and thwarted ways by individuals! Am glad I IGNORE these days! Cos my God keeps vindicating me! People have told on the Internet, via emails, gossips and texts, even faxes that I would amount to nothing!!! That I got no skill, no future, no talent! Please, LOOK AT ME NOW!!!! If I can do it, Genny for real can do it! I started with a $78 Walmart sewing machine in my dining room! I dared to buy a house to use the basement, and agents of devil refused to leave me to have peace! Out of envy!!! I gave up the house and got a store! And mighty doors opened from then! As soon as I cut off from the evil people in my life! Now, look at me! GOD IS FAITHFUL!
Genny has a celebrity name advantage! So, Genny, keep ya head high! I am rooting for you! My main goal is for our Nigerian Fabrics to be recognized worldwide and we need more hands on deck to do that!
Please close your eyes to oppositions! Listen to criticisms, but only constructive ones! Ignore the bad belles! The nay sayers, the evil people devil will send to derail your focus my dear!

Sis Pecs ... I agree with you ....my point is you cannot use negative energy to communicate a positive message ...it just does not work.

Once again one should not take credit for what they did not design. Those designs/styles have been around for quite a while now. They have made news at Nigerian events in Nigeria and overseas. U take what is not yours and put your label on it is fashion design right

All I appreciate is the sewing...its NEAT...not the designs, they are good designs but not original...I've seen them all with no exception...even go to a western shop and there are heaps and heaps of look alikes, look at purefoto, wedding aseobi photos, ovation etc etc and everything is represented....the color combinations are great...but yet nothing unique about St Genevieve...its all about the name, fame and fortune....
Estella, my surname sake...abeg o....can someone provide some level of constructive criticism on this site without been nailed on the cross.
