chi, you're in good company. i can't pronounce some myself! i'm probably mangling most. the problem is that there are just too many dialects of Igbo. Even my own tiny local government in anambra alone, the neighbouring village have their own dialect which gives problem to my people. by the time we now drive down to Ihiala and other places on the boundary with Imo state, we are almost lost!

aust'nne, there is an Igbo-English dictionary by Prof. Michael Echeruo which is available on amazon.com

Hmmm, Igbo dialects! That ones hard sha..esp those thicks ohafia/abariba dialects!

Thanks Ogonna I've actually seen one from one Nicholas and Nnaji..I had one dictionary in Naija those days but my biggest and best dictionary was the Igbo bible. I have to say that its very very complicated yet interesting to read..esp Songs of Solomon. I cant wait to get hold of some of the igbo literatures esp some of the good time old books!
