Drugs have been found in connection to Lindsay Lohan's car crash on Saturday morning, which saw the actress arrested for driving under the influence.

Police officers have confirmed they found a "useable amount of cocaine" at the accident scene, reports TMZ and People Magazine.

The 20-year-old actress suffered minor chest injuries on early on Saturday morning when her Mercedes SL-65 convertible crashed on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Lt Mitch McCann of the Los Angeles Police Department told reporters it appeared that Lohan had been speeding before losing control of the car and crashing into a bush.
