That's how Jim is to me. I didnt like him one bit and he sounded so fake to me especially as he was always cast in the same role. But wiv time i've come to like him.....even admire him.
Somex i still wonder how he made the transformation from not-too-good actor, to hyperstar. I know y'all will be sayin it's hardwork or wotever, but i'm thinkin there's more to it than just that.
i know he's really trying but then, i guess it's the fans who appreciate his looks more than his works...trust mi, he's at his best when he models...i guess dat's d basis of my disappointment cuz all the times i saw him, coupled wiv all that i hrd, i tho't hmm, he's gonna b boss but i watched his movie first time n honestly, i wuz just flabbergasted @ d disappointment. To who said we gotta appreciate smth. I'm not saying he shudn't b found dere in d first place. I appreciate his dress sense n stuff. If we all say hey Jim, u'r doing fab man, n no1 criticizes wat he's doin' u think he's gonna b better? nwayz, good luck 2 him.

When they said they were all coming 2 jand n yankee then i tho't ok, we'r in 4 a massive improvement in nollywood but the improvement is below expectations . Wiv d exception of pple like Ramsey, Genny, Rita n a few, d rest didn't make much difference as far as i cn remember. Me i cnt act oh, but anything worth doing @ all is worth doing well. Actually, come to think of it, I can act u know, biggerly

Are you kidding me?????????????? I must have heard someone else then, because if you're telling me that Hank, the same weird looking fella, in that movie with Chinedu and Osita, has an American accent, then I must get my ears checked properly. Gimme a break please. Let's face it, our so called movie stars got a long way to go. We love them in Africa, and hold them to such standards...let's not even start thinking that any of them right NOW, can hold a candle in Hollywood. Very few of them, if smart enough, with a little bit of training are ready to take a shot in Hollywood, but definitely nothing close to a principal role let alone a lead, unless the story was tailored for them. But from Hank to Jim to whoever...NOT EVEN CLOSE.
I never 4uck'd anybody over in my life didn't have it coming to them. You got that? All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break them for no one.

I think Jim Iyke is a good actor. He's not necessarily the best (comparing him to people like RMD etc) but he a good actor in his own right. He does his annoying roles very well and convinces a lot of people that he behaves exactly like his on screen character in real life. I'd rate him as 7/10.

You see a preview of most nigerian movies, and all you get is the most loudest noises, screams and just shouts all over. it is unbelievable. chei

I think Amechi Mounagor (hope the spelling is correct) is number 1, when it comes to screaming in movies.

You need to check Hank Anuku out in Lord of the rings, Ammagedon (not sure of the spelling) Night. I mean he sounds more like the America accent than others. Except that he's got a weird loud deep sexy voice... let him come down and you can hear the real sound of the America accent.
Jim Iyke is got the England accent (I found England (London) and Canadian accent sexy than ever).
Jim Iyke was really funny in One dollar men... he was meant to act too much cause of the Gbana and Igbo he was taking. His father in the movie got the real America accent.

As for Hank Anuku, i dnt really take to his physical looks but his voice is one helluva turn on. I cld spend the whole day just listening to his voice n he definitely has a proper yankee accent not the type the other wannabeeeeeesssss r using!
You are a case... So you mean Jim got the Slang accent... LOL

Agreed on that of Hank Anuku. His looks ain't that bad.

Unfortunately the guy's "yoyo" style makes him look like a comedian and he makes me laugh so much. Especially when he plays a role which brings out his anger.
