MEDDEEN: (Eyes blood shot, he screamed) Leave My family and Blackbutterfly out of this!! (He walks away angrily)
BUCKINGHAM PALACE LONDON
OBARIBA sat on a bench in the beautiful Park almost facing the Palace. The tourists, The huge golden gates, the park adored with beautiful flowers of different colors...... even the birds walking real close to her and then jumping back as if teasing her... All the beauty surrounding her seems so unreal..... It's like a bad dream that she's been fighting to wake up from but cant. How did it come to this?? The first and only love of her life is a big fraud. Can she survive this?? She has not been eating properly now she is fighting with every bit of strength left in her not to get addicted to pain killers..... She had planned to bring Khamileon to this beautiful Park and show him the golden gates of Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, London Eye,....as part of their three country honey moon, before moving to Paris to gaze upon the If el Tower and the Mona Lisa One of Leonardo Da Vinci's greatest masterpiece....... then off to Amsterdam to see Rembrandt's Masterpiece “The Night Watch” ....She and Khamileon would sometimes joke about who the greatest Master was, between Leonardo, Rembrandt, Micheal Angelo and Vincent Van gog... Khamileon has always been quick to tell her he only knew Micheal Angelo because of the SISTINE CHAPEL in Rome. She wanted to show him the works of the other Masters so much....... It all seems like ages ago now! How did it go wrong? The type of love they shared is out of this world, why or what would cause him to betray her??... The Shrine is filled with different statues of Yoruba deities, stewards covered with white clothes stood still at each conner of the wall. ZENKE the young chief priest sat in the middle... in front of him was a mat and on it sat the father of THRESSA with a very worried look.
PRIEST ZENKE: The news you bring is not a good one and time is fast running out! .....What good will it do to sell all your property and not be able to solve the problem?
THRESSA'S FATHER: I am helpless wise-one!
PRIEST ZENKE: But all these could have been avoided! So whatever is happening to your daughter is your own fault!
THRESSA'S FATHER: (Shock on his face) I don't understand Wise-one!
PRIEST ZENKE: Why didn't you inform your household about out holy shrines?
THRESSA'S FATHER: But I thought only men should know these things
PRIEST ZENKE: And from where did you hear that?? .....So in other words even your own wife did not know
THRESSA'S FATHER: No I have not told her or anybody in my family, I am waiting for my son MOVIEWIZARD to grow up before telling him
PRIEST ZENKE: (A bit angry now) Well see the price you are paying for your stupidity now... I don't know what my predecessor's told you all, but it has never been the wills of the gods to keep or hide anything from your family. You are supposed to share with your wife and children. You are supposed to live as one! By the way what do you Men discuss in your meetings if not the unity and wellbeing of your families for the goodness and prosperity of our great land!
THRESSA'S FATHER: (Silent for a while....) The rumors of our land is correct, you are not only the youngest Chief Priest to ever attain this position, but you are also the wisest!
PRIEST ZENKE: (Silent for what seems like eternity ...then spoke) And what about the boy, any news from him??
THRESSA'S FATHER: Since he brought the first payment, I have not heard from him (The Priest was quiet again, he got up bowing his head towards a Statue he did some incantations..... took some leafs from a black clay pot and sat down. He gave the leafs to Thressa's father)
PRIEST ZENKE: These leafs helped ORANMIYAN when he was in trouble, boil them over a period of two days and give your daughter one full cup to drink every night.... It will sustain her so you have more time to search from money. Go to your friends, your wife's people and borrow also pray to the gods that the boy also bring some money. I am not allowed to keep or have personal money of my own, if not I would have helped you. Now go! And inform your wife and young son about the holy shrines of this land. We are now in a new era!
THRESSA'S FATHER: May the wisdom and blessings of the Owner of the Heavens ELEDUMARE be with you! (He got up and left hurriedly)
OTUNBA SOLA'S RECIDENCE
The Otunba and his wife ERINMA are having a little argument, but he is always careful not to go overboard because the source of his wealth is his wife's family. If not for her he might still be a tenant living a struggling life like most people.
OTUNBA SOLA: I don't know why you are trying to stop me from arresting that Lizard boy and his entire family
ERINMA: On what grounds would you be arresting him?
OTUNBA SOLA: For trying to kill my daughter with Aids
ERINMA: (Silent for what seems like eternity) Do you know you are no longer the man I married? The loving SOLA I married is gone! Khamileon is somebody else's child and he might not make it for all we know. Even the status of your own daughter Obariba, we don't know, and instead of kneeling down to pray that your daughters test comes out negative you are looking for who to punish.
OTUNBA SOLA: Emi Sola? I am praying o! I am praying because if anything happens to my OBARIBA, I will personally kill that Khamileon with my bare hands
ERINMA: And when you kill him, the problem will be solved Otunba Sola! is that it?? By the way, where do you think we live, a Jungle where there are no laws?? I can see you are still living in the past, but let me draw your attention to the fact that this present administration is no respecter of your status. The President is trying to make a mark in history so the period of the Rich oppressing the poor is history, at least in this present administration. In fact this President would rather take sides with the poor so you better wake up from your dreams of murdering anybody!
OTUNBA SOLA: (Angry and almost screaming) I also don't understand you anymore! Are you not suppose to be supportive of me as my wife! ...It is in the Bible, in Genesis chapter.... Erm! Erm! Genesis Chapter... Anyway it is in the Bible, “And the two shall be one flesh”.Yes! Thats what the Bible said
ERINMA: (Cuts in) You better hold your tongue before you blaspheme against God! When was the last time you entered a Church that you are now quoting the Bible all of a sudden
OTUNBA SOLA: Thats not the point! My point is, you should support me in decisions I make
ERINMA: (cuts in again) And my own point is if you get yourself into any sort of trouble I will move and join my daughter in London.... As it is I am already thinking of going there because she needs her mother! (Otunba Sola's mouth drops open as he watched his wife place a call to Obariba)
DR NTB'S OFFICE
Soon as she resigned from KOLAWOLE ROYAL HOSPITAL DR NTB got a Job at the State hospital It's better to receive less pay in the State hospital than work at Otunba Sola's hospital she reasoned. Her presence in the hospital is already being felt because of the long hours she puts in. Her colleague the amiable DR LEOGHANA have tried couple of times to slow her down without any success. She had gone on a dinner date with him once, so she wont come across as some stuck up lady. She actually likes his gentle nature and would love to spend more time with him if not for the crisis at hand. She has done more investigation on Otunba Sola and found out the man is worth about 3 Billion naira. This gets her even more angry, she swore she would do everything in her power to make him pay for Khamileon's condition.... On the other hand she felt a little guilt about Khamileon's condition, if not for her friendship with Khamileon's Mum, the poor woman might have taken her son to another hospital and avoid all this..... She is not a surgeon so she did not perform the surgery herself, but she was there in the theater to give whatever support she could...... And now this........ She feels so much anger and pain..... Otunba Sola must pay! She picks up her bag, she has a 5pm appointment with Mr Vince and his family. That minute she heard a knock on her door, and asked the person in. It is Dr Leoghana
DR LEOGHANA: (Seeing her bag in her hand) Well I guess I beat you to it (smiling)
DR NTB: (A bit surprised by this remark) Beat me to what?...... (He was quiet..... then it dawn on her that they have a date) Oh! Dr Leo, I am so sorry I total forgot!
DR LEOGHANA: No problem, at least we are not late, and when are you going to start calling me LEO? Without the Dr (Smiles again)
DR NTB: Okay Leo I am extremely sorry, I have so much on my mind and forgot our date. I am actually off to an appointment with my friend and her family
DR: LEOGHANA: (A bit concerned) You mean Khamileon's family??
DR NTB: Yes, we still have so much to do
DR LEOGHANA: As I told you before, you can always count on me if you need my help
DR NTB: (Managed a smile) Thanks, thats so kind of you, and I am truly sorry about the date
DR LEOGHANA: You don't have to be sorry, I understand how important this is to you (together they walked out of her office)

BLACKBUTTERFLY and BOLANLE just finished eating when 4SATAT walked inside
4SATAT: So una finish everything without keeping anything for me shey??
BLACKBUTTERFLY: I thought you are on diet?
BOLANLE: Abi o! Shey you say you wan be Lepa shandy so all the boys for this school go dey drol over you.
4SATAT: So na the jealousy come make una eat everything shey?
BB: Abeg take three cubes of sugar from my shelf make you take soak garri. I hear say the thing go make you extra slim (She looks at Bolanle and both of them burst out laughing so hard!)
4STATA: So una plan for me today, anyway today my head dey house so no problem. Anyway there is a rumor creeping around this campus and I thought I should share with you girls

4SATAT: I heard Obariba has dumped Khamileon!
BB: Rumor monger! Na wah for you o!
4SATAT: I know you wont believe, but just wait and see
BOLANLE: But why on earth would she dump him when they love each other so much!

Bolanle who is also prepared for her grabbed hers with both hands ....squeezing and pulling hard almost choking her..... Blackbutterfly is trying her best to separate them.. She finally pulled Bolanle away, ripping 4Satat's top.... This infuriates her. She took off her top and threw it at Bolanle
4SATAT: You must pay for my blouse! If not this room wont contain both of us..... (Without answering her, Bolanle puts on her slippers and storm out of the room...
BB: 4stata why all these nah?...... shey we have been living like sisters, why should we let the devil come between us nah?
4SATAT: But its Bolanle's fault, she never wants me to talk! Anytime I say anything, she alway jumps on me. Why cant I be free in my own room?? (Not knowing what to say, BB begged her to forget the incident and her blouse, that she would talk to Bolanle, she even offers to buy her Suya)
MR VINCE'S RESIDENCE
DR NTB is having a very serious discussion with OLAAFOL and her husband VINCE. Khamileon left his door open so he could hear part of the discussion. The doctor told them how far she has gone..... they are no longer suing for a billion naira, but three billion naira. The couples are not really interested in the money, they are satisfied with what they earn. They are more interested in punishing Otunba Sola and send a strong message to greedy and wicked people like him. They had employed the service of AUST NNE who has been very busy doing her own private investigation. The doctor advised Vince and his family to be strong and unite in this because it is going to be a very strong and difficult case that might draw the attention of many people. That minute Khamiloen walks in and joined them.
DR NTB: How are you doing Khami
KHAMILEON: I am just hanging there!
DR NTB: Well I was just telling your parents about...
KHAMILEON: (Cuts in) My door was open, I heard most of it
OLAAFOL: If Otuba Sola had not been so greedy and stingy in running his hospital none of this would have happened (Tears dripping from her eyes again)
VINCE: (Hands on his wife's shoulder) Honey, this is not the time to cry I need you to be very strong. (then to his his son) Khami do you have anything to add to this?
KHAMILEON: (Looking at every one of them in the eyes, he finally spoke) Suing Otunba Sola for all his wealth would not save me if this thing develops to Aids, neither is it going to bring back Obariba. The Otunba has always accused me of going out with Obariba because of his wealth. I suggest you all let me go in peace if this thing develops because I don't have the strength to go through any court case.
The three of them couldn't believe their ears, the doctor especially
DR NTB: Khamileon! Don't tell me you are going to let that wicked man go Scot free! By the way what is the story with Obariba?
KHAMILEON: All I know is that her father might have sent her abroad for the test, but the strange thing is she has refused to contact me. Whenever I call her London number, its either a voice machine, or somebody picks and refuses to say anything, sometimes they just hang the phone on me
DR NTB: Hmmmm!! It is indeed strange, but we will get to the root of that. Still I want you to be strong and ready because we are going after Otunba Sola
KHAMILEON: (Getting up) And just like I said count me out! Because I don't want Otunba's money, neither will it do me any good when I am dead!
OLAAFOL : (Cuts in!) God forbid! Don't ever say a thing like that Khami you hear me!
KHAMILEON: Mum we might as well face the truth, there is a very big chance that I might not make it (He went back to his room while his mother kept talking)
OLAAFOL: Nothing will happen to you my son!
DR NTB: (Gets up) I better go and speak to him, because he doesn't seems to understand
MR VINCE: (Gets up at the same time) Dr, why don't you stay here with my Olaafol and I will talk to Khami

The guys sat on the stairs and allowed Medden to speak
MEDDEN: I didn't disturb you guys when you were reading, so I hope you will have time for me
OKESTRA: But I have a date with Angeleyes tonight
MEDDEN: Don't even think of it!
OBUDE: (Cuts in) Medden I am beginning to get tired you being so bossy all the time.
MEDDEN: (Fright in his eyes) You guys should feel sorry and take it easy with me nah! You cant understand the kind of pressure I am under
PETE: Okay since you don't want to tell your parents, why Don't you just become a Reverend father? That way you Don't have to worry about sex!
MEDDEN: O boy why u dey talk like this nah?.... Shey na like this dem take dey be Reverend father?..... And who told you they don't have sex?
OKESTRA: But you can become a Reverend father and give up sex, it;s a way out if you ask me!
OBUDE: Medden you are just screaming about your own problem, but there is something even bigger and far worst than yours
MEDDEN: What could be worse than this??
OBUDE: I Don't even know how to say it
PETE: O guy! just talk and stop keeping us in suspense!
OBUDE: Hmmmm!!!
OKESTRA: Talk Joor!
OBUDE: Well Our own Khami, our main man is infected with the Hiv virus!
The guys froze on the stairs...... They were like that for what seems like eternity, each lost in his own thought while checking Obude's eyes for any sign of mischievousness. Finally Pete spoke
PETE: How was he infected? What about Obariba?
OKESTRA: Abi na she give am?
Medden is getting even more scared now because he has slept with the same prostitute Emerald, just like Khamileon..... Its now making sense why Otunba Sola's people paid him to bring Emerald. Who knows Khamileon might have infected Obariba.. What if he is infected and has also infected Blackbutterfly? Wow! The scenario is getting more scary. He said a silent prayer and begged God to free him from all this and he would be a changed man forever. Now he must go for a test at once!
OBUDE: The thing go bad if na Obariba infect our Khami o!
MEDDEN: It's not Obariba ! (the words came out of his mouth before realizing it)
OKESTRA: You seem so sure!
MEDDEN: Errm!! ....no! Just that Obariba doesn't look the type
PETE:Abeg shut up joor! Them dey write Hiv for people forehead! If Magic Johnson didn't say anything, who would have known he was infected
OBUDE: My guys! We have to be extra careful o!
OKESTRA: I am very careful o! I used condom with Angeleyes
MEDDEN: (Forgetting his problems for a second ) Chai! So you have slept with her? That beautiful girl that I like so much?
PETE: It looks like you have forgotten your problem
Back to reality a deep sadness came over Medden, that the guys felt very sorry for him
PETE: Am so sorry Medden, I didn't mean to hurt you
MEDDEN: (In a low voice) Guys I have to leave, I have an appointment
OBUDE: You cant leave nah?.... I mean we are sitting here because of you, to find solution to your problem
MEDDEN: I know, and appreciate but I really have to catch this appointment (He ran off before anybody could say anything.... even as he ran he kept on praying silently that he should test negative, because if he test positive, that means Black butterfly is infected! That would definitely kill him
Is Medden Infected? Has he also Infected Blackbutterfly? Did Emerald cause all this madness? What about Obariba is she infected? Without Khamileon can Vince and is family still go to court?
