We've been hearing about the pains of love and how we it is difficult to fall out of it,especially if we have been betrayed for another.Believe me that that is the easy part.
Now here's a toughie!
U're really in love with your partner and u are getting the same slice of love,no problems there.U 2 have made all kinds of plans to really consolidate your relationship,plans that will cement your love forever.Then BOOM,it happens!Your significant other commits MURDER and i mean really commits it and not that somebody is trying to frame him/her or something like that.Your love is the MURDERER!
He/she comes to you,confesses and tells you that he needs your help to cover it up.A perfect plan that might just work.
Now i pray that noone on NR ever even get to sniff such a situation,but just in case my prayers fail and you all are faced with this situation(except moi,ofcourse, hehehe ),what would u do?
Would u listen to what the plan is?
Will your love for him/her still be strong at that moment.
How far are u willing to go to risk your future for someone u love.
How far to the other side of the law are u willing to cross for the one u love?
Now if u guys refuse to post any reply,i will understand 'cos this one is a toughie

No thinking. I will shop his arse to the police! Murder another human being? na, na, na......no way ozay!!

I saw a movie over the weekend titled 'Unfaithful' which starred Richard Gere. Basicly, he murdered his wife's toy-boy, and when the wife found out, she tried covering it up. If it had been me, I wouldn't have thought twice about it. My own love has a boundary o.........abeg.

I saw that film too and woulda done exactly the same. Aint gonna shop the father of my kids. ITS ME N HIM AGAINST THE WORLD!

There will always be circumstances leading to such an occurence, afterall na decent person i marry so how can he turn into a murderer overnite for no just cause?

Well, if it were to be me, i wont cover him at all. If he delibrately killed the person, I will report him to the police immediately, but if i knew it was not delibrate, we'll both go to the church and pray before reporting to the police.
I will do these because, I might think it was not delibrate and it might be. If you dont report him, you might be the next person on his list.
A yoruba addage says, "pasan ta fi na iyale, o wa loke aja fun iyawo".
If you really love him, you wont cover him up, you will report him and help him find a way out (with prayer).
Although it is not easy, but one would just have to do it.

Me? I'd rather shop his ass o, father of kids or no kid father. If my man can murder a whole human being, flesh and blood like his.....Ah! oloun ma je kin bo ina mora.

I would always sleep with my two eyes open if I let him be. One would never know peace, it would become a case of him holding a knife in the kitchen to slice a bread and I would run out before realising. I'll shit myself anytime he holds a rope or a pillow...........mba, mba!

You are all assuming he did it in cold blood. If he is a cold blooded murderer and you opened your eyes and married him, maybe you deserve to have your head chopped off in style

What if u didn't know he was a coldblooded killer?
Most cases are like that,you know.This scenario can just be thrusted on one's lap unexpected.

1. If the person kill in self-defense!: HMm! And I love am well well, and I know say him go go jail, manslaughter and all that, we go go see 'eke' . As for me, I believe say person get to bear him cross anytime. Oluwa go see the person thru'.

2. If him be craze person and him kom mud person for kold blood. Walahi, na straight to eke! Make ma own head no kom roll!! Kapish!

Aren't you peeps underestimating the power of love?
When u love somebody,you are a prisoner.
You will be doing things and making decisions that are far from rational.
Where are the guarantees that you will all act the way that you are all saying if you find yourself in this situation?
Remember that we are talking about the person that you truly love.
I personally do not know how i will react or what my decisions will be if i'm confronted with such a scenario.
I can only pray that i never have to.

Cold murder, abi hot murder, his ass is gonna get bursted. I just can't comprehend staying with a murderer even in self defence. Mo ya ojo ju gbo gbo iyen lo o ( I am the biggest coward ever!) I never close my eyes I dey see ghost, this time, it would be like seeing ghost haunting me every second of the day.

What's love gat to do with it? Isn't it a second hand emotion? Go and ask Tina Turner.

I'd probably pull in DIANE LANE in UNFAITHFUL (Lovely movie by d way, especially the staircase scene). Run away with him, and if he's caught well, I'll try to protect his ass and claim I didn't know he killed people

Plus come to think of it, we're all murderers, how many chickens have you killed and eaten in cold blood ehn!!!!
