My issue is why must it be "gangstar" or "gentleman"... This seems like a question we ask Black women! White women don't include "gangstar" or "Thug" in their lexicon. Why is this?
Why must was always associate a tough, strong, protactive man as "gangsta"? Do you realize that the deadly, most dangerous hitman or gangstar as the same psychologic make up as say, a covert ops Navy Seal? The difference, one lives by moral code that is "selfless" and not "selfish". Trust me, a Navy Seal will take down even the toughest gangstar. He is more ruthless, more precise and must more dangerous. This is the type of man white women call "gangsta".... We unfortunately think of hoodlums....
A tough white guy is normally portrayed as a cop, soldier, CIA or FBI. A tough black guy is a drug dealer, street hoodlum or gang banger. A black cop or soldier is almost considered soft on our neighborhoods.. Why?
We need to start distancing ourselves from that term. You can be a protective, confident, tough black man who is ruthless towards anyone that threatens his family and not be "gangsta
<tru, this is not about your poll more about our society in general>
