@ highlighted: That is a question that needs to be directed to the mom. What was the motive behind all this? is it really because she is bitter like it was stated or is she doing this because she really gives a damn about the child? I can understand her not wanting to report the case when it first occurred out of fear or even embarrassment....i now can only wonder if she has now reported the matter to the local police and had the case investigated. Or did she just go to the reporters with the hopes of having the man's career ruined? Like they say, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I hope this is really for the sake of her daughter and not herself.

I think there's nothing there to be afraid of. Infact she's even more stupid. She heard such thing at first and decided not to report the case. Is that not crazy? she's sick upstairs. Which kai mother go do that thing? At least the girl wasn't even up to 15yrs then when the first happend if i'm correct. So she was waiting for it to happen the second or third time b4 she reports the case abi?
I'm just boiling. No woman would allow such thing to happen to their 18 - 20yrs old children how much more 15yrs old 2 times. She needs to be flogged. She for just die in silence finish instead of saying it out now. She was the cause of everything.
And for Ernest, God help u becos i have nothing to say to him.

I dont have anything to say, you all are saying a lot.

I dont know what to make of this. Allegations like these are very serious and people like to banter the word rape and abuse too flipantly for my liking, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt till it gets to court. The facts need to be ascertained and not all this speculation here because matters like this can be extrememly damaging to all involved!!!. If he did this, he should be jailed, wetin again I go talk?

My one concern is for the young girl and what she's going through whether this is true or not.

Oh yes, there is a good reason to be afraid. Afraid of what society will say about your child in a case like this although she might indeed be the victim. Afraid of the shame it will bring to the family. Afraid of what people will say behind your back and so forth. There is no need to be afraid, but it is such a delicate subject in Africa and even in the western countries and until you are in the persons shoes, you will have no idea what it feels like. I can understand to a certain degree why she didn't report the matter to the police when it happened...but my own is that you DO NOT ALLOW THE CHILD TO STILL LEAVE with the perpetrator of the said crime. U have nothing to say to Ernest? Has he been charged yet? LOL

She can only be afraid if she agreed to it. As far as she was forced then why was she afraid. This is clear, Infact maybe there's something the mum is hiding or don't want to lose. Nonsense

no the sucker didn't...i will have smashed his tiny toons myself. see sidney, going back to the dogs thing, what do you say when the oyibo from the south kills a black man and feels that he has not done nothing as he does not even see the black person as a human being...see, that horrible feeling that you feel inside when you hear cases like that is what some of us also feel like when our pets are harm viciously by others. Yes, they are dogs and cats, but they too have feelings.

When was the last time you spoke to Ernest?
J "That was this week (Last week). He said there was a publication in Encomium on front page. He said you guys wrote that he impregnated Vanessa twice and aborted the pregnancy. He called me again yesterday and said he had lost a contract of N36m. He said he just won Chairmanship of AGN, that he wanted to go ahead and resign, that Vanessa said he raped her constantly. I said yes, Vanessa said so!"
