Girl abused for stealing in Lagos

So i heard this girl stole at shoprite in Lagos and rather than hand her over to the police, they decided to strip her naked and humiliate her publicly. Very disturbing video so watch at your own peril.

There are so many perverts looming the streets of Lagos and they'll use any excuse to display their perversion infused acts.

WARNING: THIS IS A TERRIBLE VIDEO. DON'T CLICK ON IT IF YOU CAN'T STOMACH IT. - Sola edit

There is no rule of law in that country. None... This is egregious sexual assault! Every single person in this video should have a longer prison sentence than the girl for the theft. But that would only happen in a civilized country.....

Why did I follow that link exactly...And what kind of human being videos this sort of thing instead of helping the person being so terribly abused? What the heck happened to our humanity?

And I thought this happened in Ghana. The video has been around since last year. Sad thing! Very sad thing! It's just a matter of time before you-do me-I-do you becomes the order of the day.

Nevertheless, what we are witnessing is a result of moral-less society. Charity, they say, begins at home. Charity does not begin at Aso Rock. I'll leave it at that for now.

Where is Thomas Hobbs? It seems we are going back to the state of nature where life was short, brutish and... What is happening? So sad

Kolinzo, in the midst of lawlessness, every moral is absent. The law is made for the people and not morals. My arguement has always been as follows: Whenever I am in Europe, especially in Germany, I notice some people simply hate me because I am black. They avoid killing me not because of morals but because they will go to jail, for life. And since they are not prepared to go to jail for life, they weep and go away and I am still alive! In Nigeria, what we see are humans quickly turning to beasts because the environment provides for it. Hunger, frustration, purposelessness of life have conspired to awaken the worst levels of wickedness and suddenly the moral conscious village is setting four youngmen ablaze! Stripping a youngwoman stark naked! As if we are all not guilty of the same pilfering? And we are still wondering whatever happened to our morals?

i cannot get rid of this image of this poor lady out of my mind. Gosh!! What has become of us. I remember clearly when i was growing up when someone is caught for stealing, he or she is taken to the police station to face the law, a woman thief is treated with a little respect, and is even left off the hook when she begs not to steal anymore. people don't just take the law into their own hands and do as they like. what happened? is it that we have lost hope in the justice system? why should someone be lynched because of a mere phone? why don't we attack our leaders who steal billions of monies from us?
this exact incident happened in the university of ghana when a lady cleaner was alleged to have stolen a laptop. she was stripped naked and fingered. fortunately someone took photos and some of culprits were arrested. so sad.

.......this is immoral, but...........this is one more reason not to become a thieve. I just hope they got the right person. I pray she survive it....I have a feeling she'll be cure of being a thieve forever. I hope other thieves her age are watching also,.........this is (unfortunately) what real life is.

......again, I hope she survived this,....and most importantly I hope they got the right person.

If you've ever had little teenage boys/girls put a gun or knife to your head and take your purse/wallet away while laughing at you, you'll understand my point. Or if you know somebody who've been raped & robbed by little teenage kids during home invasion in Nigeria, you'll understand better.

......again, I hope she survived this,....and most importantly I hope they got the right person.

It does not matter if the person was a thief or not. It does not matter. This kind of action should not happen at all. Let the proper authorities deal with the issues. This does not deter anything, if it did, we would not have any more thieves, no would we.
