Prayer for New Orleans / Gulf Coast

We are crying about the death of soldiers in iraq. We cried about September 11th!

But life continues as usual even in teh face of the natural tragedy in GulfCoast. The dead and dispalced and hopeless there are more than September 11 2001! Its even almost more than Iraq war!

So, why is life "Business as Usual" in USA now?! Why has no one called for National Prayer or Silence for the dead and sufferingh?

Tsunami: People (individuals) packed absg to go help there, so, why are we not hearing of heroic acts of people in this times? Does Charity no begin at home?

has there been any thread on Nair rules.com about these events?

Dont we even have Nigerians living in the Gulf Coast?
or does something only worry us when it hits close home?

Are those people not human beings?
Who knows where the next 'natural' disaster would happen?
Remember, its NATURAL! You never know where!

Please pause for a second and pray for the dead.

Pray for God to give the surviving ones strenght to carry on!

Pray for God's Spirirt to give them faith and hope (so that they would stop committing suicide! There is hope!)

Pray for the losts ones to find their way home!

Pray for the surviving ones to be found by the rescue teams

And most importantly, pray that the souls of all the departed rest in perfect peace. Amen!

I marvel at Amercia sometimes......

Just my 2 cents. I refused to be glued to CNN to watch the stories! It tears my heart apart! these are people in same country as us!!! And we have dams all around us in this country!! It could be anyone of us , ANYWHERE!!

Please let's stop living life like its normal at thsi time! Its not, peopel need our prayers!!!

Yes, at least two. And I'm about merging your thread with one.

there's no one to bomb so King George's kinda confused about this one .

Also there's no political currency with this one so both parties (and their leaders) are like
