N15b Lagos business district scheme begins
THE first phase of a plan to remodel of the Lagos Central Business District (CBD) began yesterday, as Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu performed the sod turning. The N15 billion project, which is to place Central Lagos in the league of Wall Street in the United States, will involve upgrading schemes covering the Marina, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Martins and Balogun Streets.
The contract for the project has been awarded to the giant construction firm, Julius Berger Plc.MORE
