Pastor Enoch Adeboye, general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), says the country requires divine intervention to solve its myriad of socio-economic and political problems.

Speaking with newsmen in Lagos at the weekend on the church’s forthcoming 8th annual Holy Ghost Congress, Adeboye said: “Only God can solve the numerous problems of Nigeria”. The programme, entitled: “The Ultimate Breakthrough” is scheduled for Dec, 12 - 17 at the Congress ground along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

What else do you guys expect a pastor to say?The truth is that God will not do it for us,we will have to do the largest part of the task,but with God's backing.We can't shift all our responsibilites unto God's laps,no way Jose!That is not the way things work.
