To hell with Bushwacka!! Naija's got the US by the kahunas right about now as with each passing year the nation's strategic ties with the rapidly budding Super Power, China, grows greater and greater. Very soon China will surpass the US as Nigeria's most strategic trading partner as China unlike the US has shown that it is more than willing to go aaaaallll the way with Naija, in regards to making it a full blown trading partner, cooperating in EVERYTHING from Atomic energy, Aeronautical and Automobile production on a massive scale to massively improved Zoological and Zoning abilities.
Africa is seen by the Chinese as their door to overtaking or at least balancing out the Superpowerdom of the US, and Nigeria the Lock to open that door up to them. And their magic key to do so with... is massive investment in Nigeria's dilapidated, cash strapped industrial, financial, educational, defence and infrastructural areas.
At the massive, and ever increasing rate in which the Chinese and of lately... the Indians, Koreans, Taiwanese and Singaporeans, are investing in Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Angola, Congo(Zaire), Zambia, Ghana, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Guinea, while poised to soon do the same in Liberia, Niger and IC... by the year 2015 the west would have been outpaced to the point of near insignificance in the West African and Central African markets, once that happens it could very well led to an extremely gloomy future for the western economy.
Such a situation would give the Asians... Chinese and Indians pacifically.... economic prowess over the worlds two most populous and mineral rich continents by far (Africa and Asia). China and India are desperate to capture the African market from the grasp of the west. That goal is literally written, in clear words, in their recently restructured economic plans... as a ((MUST)) for the future of their economic expansions into the future.
And the capturing of the giant and every rapidly growing ((NIGERIAN)) market is viewed as the first ((MUST)) in their drive to success. It's for this reason and this reason ((ONLY)) that the western creditors have of recently all of sudden decided to do an about face on granting all these African nations dept pardons of the money owed to them, including Nigeria... in whom they were for the longest time ardent to never give a pardon to......
Damn, sorry about that. Now where was I?... Oh yes...
The US had to us some serious scare tactics on the Paris Club in order to get them to cancel that massive chunk of Nigeria's dept in which they just recently pardoned. With the entry of the Asians into the Naija market in mass... the tables have seemingly rapidly turned on the Naija-US/European relations.

Now to get back to the topic at hand; I don't think that should be introduced, and depicting on what OB has been stating in regards to this issue for several years now... I don't think he will go along with it, or support it after he leaves office in a couple of years. That government has much more important business to attend to than this type of foolishness and that that other bullish about what area, tribe or religion "deserves" this that and the other.
It's all nothing more than the Devils work... once again trying to bring the African Giant from reaching its deserved greatness in this world. I only pray that the Nigerian people stay strong, focus and ardent in their inmence showing of faith in god... in order to fight back the evils being set upon them in this new great drive of the 4th republic to accelerate that great nation of homegrown... massive diversity, in which represents everything it means to be a true African.
It may not be said often, or maybe just not often enough in public... but I know for a fact that the whole knowledgeable black world is quietly rooting for that nation to due something great... for that, as sorry as it may sound, it really is our TRUE only hope for a real distinguishable brighter future. A future great Nigeria will surly result in a future great Africa and that in turn will result in a future great black diaspora at whole.
