Bhuto of Pakistan was a woman and up to this day, the people of Pakistan regret making her their leader.
Another woman leader was the former Turkish Prime Minister Tansu Chiller. She was a terrible PM and the Turkish public were glad to see the bck of her. Personally, I'm not gender biased, but I don't think the women that have become leaders of various countries were successful.

Mrs. Hillary Clinton of the USA come 2008?
Earlier on, we had:
Mrs Indira Ghandi in India
Mrs Bendranaike in Ceylon (now Sri Lanka)
Mrs Maggie Thatcher of the UK
Mrs Corizano Aquino of the Phillipines
Ms Z . Bhuto of Pakistan.
Ms. Golda Meyer in Israel
This list is by no means exhaustive. But it only goes to show that our women are stepping up to the political play. In so doing, they are giving impetus to the claims that what a man can do, a woman will do, even better!
Go Ladies!

How long has the Phillipines lady been President? Cause its been a while since the eighties....hmmm, she must be doing something good...but Hilary is my favorite......cannot wait for 2008...Afterall, she was the one with the brains during the Clinton regime! But the question is, is the US of A ready for a woman President? Well, we live to see.

Come oh, in Nigeria let us try and accomplish the first ever civilian to civilian hand over of power before we even think of anything else. Then we need to progress to where the incumbent loses and hands over power to the winner successfully without incident. Wait, you know what, let's first have an incumbant lose in a fair election. Instead of everyone in power always winning. None of these things have ever occured... Make we walk before we run.
As for Hilary. I have said it. The moment she declares, I immediately volunteer for her campaign! Immediately!

Yeah right. The US is not ready for a female president and I don't think Hilary Clinton will be president. I believe George Bush's younger brother has a better chance of being president than Hilary Clinton.
