Women Presidents
Ms. Angela Merkel in Germany;
Ms Johnson in Liberia;
The current president of the Phillipines is a woman:
The current Prime Minister of New Zealand is a woman:
Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala of Nigeria come 2007?
Mrs. Hillary Clinton of the USA come 2008?
Earlier on, we had:
Mrs Indira Ghandi in India
Mrs Bendranaike in Ceylon (now Sri Lanka)
Mrs Maggie Thatcher of the UK
Mrs Corizano Aquino of the Phillipines
Ms Z . Bhuto of Pakistan.
Ms. Golda Meyer in Israel
This list is by no means exhaustive. But it only goes to show that our women are stepping up to the political play. In so doing, they are giving impetus to the claims that what a man can do, a woman will do, even better!
Go Ladies!

I am talking about the present. The Country needs a Woman to take control and turn things around. Abeg these men have not been able to do it for 45 years and for how must we continue this

I feel you my sista...but I think before that can happen, we as women first need to learn how to get along with each other before we can even think of making it to Aso Rock. Men have been ruling in that country for so long now cause so far, they seem to be the ones getting along fine with each other than women have.

For Iweala, only if IBB sleeps tonight and never wakes up.
For Hillary, she will sure get my vote but that will be freaking scary.

Let me first of all say that women presidents have never worked. Look at what Magret Thatcher did to the economy of Great Britain. It's because of her that the conservative are finding it very difficult to get into power. Thank God for Tony Blair and Gordon Brown (the chancellor), if not for those two, the British economy would have been in a terrible state.
Bhuto of Pakistan was a woman and up to this day, the people of Pakistan regret making her their leader.
Another woman leader was the former Turkish Prime Minister Tansu Chiller. She was a terrible PM and the Turkish public were glad to see the bck of her. Personally, I'm not gender biased, but I don't think the women that have become leaders of various countries were successful.

Hmmm, you almost got me there.
Giving Genny a chance might not be such a bad idea afterall.
Don't forget that Genny is already the president of the republic of Genevievea?
