The question asked for GREATEST NIGERIAN....why are folks listing more than one name ????
Jeez !!!!
ISAAC BORO
Boro's personality
He was a free human being. Before him everybody was equal. Because of his personality and his courage to stand by the truth, most soldiers obeyed him. The soldiers feared Isaac Boro more than Benjamin Adekunle at the 3rd Marine Commando. He was totally detribalized as he did not distinguish among Ijaws, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo. What he did for one, he did for all.
ISAAC ADAKA JASPER BORO

Area pops I can't just leave out one for the other as those men listed in my initial post are great men. Since you only want one then i'll go with:
Uncle Shege (OBJ).
How about you aren't you gonna let us know yor pick?

There isnt a greatest nigerian. There are a number of great nigerians who have made immense contributions to our nation in the area of arts, culture, literature, politics, nationalism and business/economy.To name one as above the rest would be a travesty.
