You are making the assumption that moslems care about preserving life. I am yet to see or hear about a campaign to stop moslem suicide bombing ! I am not convinced that Moslems Fundamentalist have respect for the Human life ! I dont think they care about people dying at Hajj ! It must be a big money maker or form of tourism and they also know people will always go to Mecca in order to carry the title Hajia or Alhaji !! I doubt if they will ever implement safety precautions to manage the crowds !!!

According to the information I heard (CNN) they tried there best to control the crowd. They deployed about + - 60,000 armies to monitor the whole exercise but unfortunately it still happen. I don't think Saudi is surviving through Hajji Money; God already blessed them with oil.

There is no problem about the gathering but trouble of death comes when they started throwing stones. I'm sure some people will be tramped in that process and part of the stone they throwing is the one that hit people to death. People stoning each other because their stones couldnt reach the devil (the black stone).

Since the action cant stop, the death wont stop.
