No be only rodent, monkey and python na mosquito and lizard too.
Anyway, apart from a few slip-ups like 'if you'd like to work late tell your driver and he'd be happy to oblige you'... like hell he will!

No matter how run-down it may appear to western eyes, Lagosians are proud of their city. Complaints from visitors about traffic, power cuts, petrol queues, rubbish-choked gutters and people urinating in the streets will not go down well.

This bit is so true, lagosians can say anything terrible about but once a foreigner says anything remotely critical, it's gets our hackles up.

Aw, that's comparable to folks who live in really bad ghettos over here. They're really proud of their areas, yet they often talk about it amongst themselves as if it were hell on earth; yet the moment someone outside the loop, so to say, starts ripping on it... they're ready to fight you and play down or flat out deny everything said..

Nigerians are sharp dressers. Three-piece suits in the blazing heat are not unheard of

I think such things happen in almost every African country with the exception of a few things.
