Yes, the middle parts of the world is called TROPICAL then towards the poles it becomes HOT GRASSLAND then HOT DESERT then TEMPERATE (mild) then cold GRASSLAND then Cold DESERT (tundra).

The climate of the tropics although warm all year round is humid, uncomfortably hot and most importantly facilitate the proliferation of PESTS,- insects above all and therefore tropical diseases. On this basis the temperate (mild) region is more desirable.

Personally, the one thing I do not miss about the tropics is the prevalence of INSECTS, mosquitoes!! flies, etc.

Do not assume that we live in the best climate.

Is this response based on actual facts, religious or mythological beliefs? Sounds more like the latter to me, unless there are documented backups beyond reasonable doubts. I also see a mixture of scientific and stereotypical comments. Yes, earth's climatic difference contributes to one's skin tone, but food and chemical mixtures found in creams/lotions/cosmetics also play great role.

@highlighted...do not know. Mankind regardless of race almost always are forced to react when under severe constraints. I personally prefer the cold to heat. Cold kills but one can seek comfort through warm clothes. Heat on the other hand is unbearable. Comsmetics??? Don't we all usual use almost the same products? With food, I can understand, but not cosmetics and lotions as we basically use the same. Most Africans do not use anything from Africa as we know.
