Garland police are holding a man who called them up to say he had killed his wife -- and then taken off with the couple's four children, ranging from four-to-nine years old. Theophilus Ojukwu told officers where to find him and he gave up without resisting. CPS has the children in foster care but since the family is from Nigeria, they have not found any relatives living close by.

I bet it was over a threat of divorce by the wife.

At times I wonder if this better life we're seeking abroad is truly 'BETTER' life or 'BITTER' life! The environment get as e be and without God it is easy to just snap. So much pressure, so many cultural disparities. It seems it is better to come here when you're very young so the cultural diff are less to deal with.
Poor man, poor children and poor woman. In the end, in the words of M.L.King both the oppressor and the oppressed are both slaves in bondage. May her soul RIP.

Not all Nigerians abroad see it that way oooh !! Too many times I have brought up the topic of returning home and the reaction is always a look of "R u crazy ?"

But the truth is that there are so many distractions and a lot of various events and entertainment to help reduce stress back home.

I mean the children couldnt even go stay with a relative ...which would have been the case back in Nigeria !! The kids will now all be separated into different foster homes...and will end up rebellious then at age 18 the fostercare system will release them into the world without any support system in place !! (I saw a documentary on PBS)

Is it not better to not win the so called "Visa lottery" than to end up in this kind of situation ??

Ohh my bad, Blacks only beat them up and use them as punching bags. What difference does it make? Its all the same to me, a lady is still lying in an Austria nursing home. Dead or alive, done by a Black or White guy, it doesn't matter, bad is bad!
