I had a feeling this would happen, but I hoped it would not......I wish she had put her support behind someone else who may have shared her views, and not made any attempts at campaigning, or any suggestion of re-election...Extremists don't play. They must have stressed that 2008 should not appear with Bhutto in it.

Such a sad news, I have been watching it on TV, you would expect such a woman to be fully prepared against such attacks. It's a sad day for Pakistan's democracy and the whole world.

..I really don't see it that way sha...I think Bhutto would've been better off staying awayfrom Pakistan since she was deposed....considering everything happening to Pakistan the last thing they really needed was political destabilization especially from a previous Prime Minister who was deposed for corruption.......valiant but overzealous...

During the first unsuccessful attempt on Bhutto's life (which resulted in the death of over 100 people), Musharraf made it clear he offered both helicopters and security personnel to Bhutto but she refused. Then after they almost killed her, she started blaming the Pakistani government. It's like she was trying to use the attempt on her life to her own advantage not realising that she's putting her life at risk and not Musharraf's.
